THE RETURN OF THE KAISER
Colin Hynds has secured the position of assistant manager to Mark Milligan for Symington’s World Cup 2012 campaign.Rumours had been rife since Saturday after Hynds was spotted in the stand at the home friendly against Troon United.
The former Symington stalwart, 28, moves to back for a spell in Europe having been a player at Coylton since February. The former Symington player was described by Yul Prentice as "my most inspirational signing" at Symington. Hynds was instrumental during his time at Shaw Park in helping the club achieve promotion to the 3rd Division in 2010.
Kaiser's appointment at Shaw Park represents his first top-flight management role.

The new Symington World Cup manager Milligan turned to the experienced midfielder after being turned down by other former Rangers stars Terry Hurlock and Robert Fleck.
"I am honoured to accept the assistant manager's position with Symington’s World Cup squad," Hynds said on the Sky Sports website. "I have known Milli for over 15 years since our days playing 5-a-side on a Thursday night and it will be great to work alongside him. "I am excited by this opportunity to work with the squad as there are a lot of talented players and I am looking forward to our first game against VV Haaften."

WORLD CUP 2012 BOSS NAMED
Mark Milligan will be officially named Symington Caledonian’s World Cup 2012 manager tomorrow.
The 34-year-old has agreed to take over from last year’s World Cup boss, Dougie McIntyre after a meeting with Symington president John Mulholland and chief executive Ronnie Hastie.
We understand face-to-face talks between the parties took place at Symington Bowling Club and negotiations were incredibly positive as both Symington chief’s agreed with much of what Milligan had to say about what his role would entail with regards to him being a player as well as World Cup team boss.

Symington board members Gillian Mulholland and Graham Hastie also attended the talks.
A press conference is not expected for a couple of days but Symington will confirm tomorrow morning that they have got their man and a new era in European football is ready to begin.
www.symingtoncaledonianfc.com is the first to reveal Milligan would be Symington’s European manager.
Various rumours pointed out he and Jimmy Calderwood were the front-runners before reporting the former Aberdeen and Kilmarnock manager had excluded himself from the race, leaving the way clear for Milligan’s appointment.
Milligan spent last night sorting out travel issues with wife Claire, who had given him permission to speak with to Symington, but these were formalities.
It is expected that Milligan will name his assistant in the coming week. Rumour has it that a former Symington favourite is on the shortlist.
